ANIMALS AND PHARAOHS

For many, it would be impossible to imagine their lives without their pets. Something similar occurred – not taking into consideration the large distances – in the Ancient Egyptian era. It is not a secret that the Egyptians adored cats… they even mummified them. Now, the “Animals and Pharaohs” exhibition goes more into depth with this cultural theme and shows the function and importance of the animal figure during the pharaonic rule.

Where: Caixaforum Madrid (Paseo del Prado 36, metro: Atocha).

When: All week long, from 10:00am – 8:00pm. Goes until August 23rd.
