The Erasmus Mundus European Masters Program in Language and Communication Technologies (LCT) was created to meet the demands of this rapidly growing industry. It offers education and training opportunities for the next generations of leaders in research and innovation.
Students will have access to top-quality insight into the various disciplines that contribute to the methods of language and communication technologies and it strengthens their ability to work using the scientific method. Moreover, the students acquire practice-oriented knowledge by choosing appropriate combinations of modules in Language Technology, Computational and Theoretical Linguistics, and Computer Science.
The LCT program involves studying one year at two different European universities that participate in the program, including
- The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (FUB), Italy
- The University of Malta (UoM), Malta
- The University of Nancy 2 (Nancy 2), France
- The Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic
- The Saarland University (UdS; Coordinator), Germany
- The University of Groningen (RuG), Netherlands
The student will obtain two Master of Science/Arts degrees approved in the respective countries of issue.
The LCT Masters program has been running since 2007 with funding from the Erasmus Mundus Programme. The program has been awarded by the European Commission/EACEA an Erasmus Mundus Brand Name (EMBN) for its level of excellence.Application deadline | Fecha de inscripción: Flexible
