During the summers in Madrid it gets oppressively hot. Pools seem to be the only way to deal with the heat, but there is another option to be found in the indoor ski hill, Snow Zone, which provides a way to stay inside and out of the heat while still having fun.
The National Library of Spain and its museum are less known attractions in Madrid, but still worth visiting. Some of the oldest collections in the library are the Leonardo da Vinci’s Madrid Codices, Miguel de Cervantes archives, and the Metz Codex, the eleventh century manuscript Beato de Don Fernando.
