Dear Mr. Dolce, dear Mr. Gabbana… I really thought my wishlist of shoes was long, but then we went to Paris to see the “Du Cœur À La Main: Dolce & Gabbana” exhibition at the Grand Palais. The dresses, which included everything from haute couture runway designs made entirely of glass, to the creations the brand bore into being for Milan’s opera, left me speechless. But then came the shoes.
Baroque? Embellished? Flamboyant? I really have no words. I don’t know if you can even call them shoes at this point. So let the photos speak for themselves – and scroll all the way down to see the pair that I would *actually* wear this summer.
