If you’re following our Founder Isabel Eva Bohrer (@isabelevabohrer) on social media, you will know how much she loves shoes. In fact, she remembers her first few TikTok videos well. “I started posting on social media because my friends simply weren’t that interested in shoes,” she recalls. Fast forward and her videos on the Christian Louboutin So Kate 120 heels went viral in 2024. If you’ve ever tried these beauties on, you will know that they’re a challenge to walk in. But in life, and in heels, you just have to persevere until it all works out.

“I got myself a push present because I really pushed through fashion week,” she said in another video back in March 2025. The push present? A pair of beige leather YSL Kiss 105 slingbacks. “These have been on my wishlist ever since I got the black patent ones,” she recalls. “I finally found a pair on Vestiaire Collective, brand new.”
The ensuing video has been chosen to form part of a Vestiaire Collective advertising campaign on social media. Mrs. Bohrer wrote about the Mytheresa x Vestiaire Collective resale service on RGNN.org a few years back.

“Circularity and sustainability in an industry like fashion are essential,” she affirmed. “And with a beautiful pair of Saint Laurent slingbacks? I am so happy to be supporting the Vestiaire Collective initiative.”
“Resale platforms such as Vestiaire Collective are fundamental not only for the environment to give a second life to designer items one person might no longer use; they also give customers a chance to acquire precisely such items at a more affordable price point,” said Mrs. Bohrer. “Brands, in turn, reap the added benefits – to be able to firmly affirm that their items stand the test of time, both when it comes to physical wear and tear, as well as having achieved a classic design that transcends seasonal trends (like these YSL heels, which I plan to wear over and over!)”
Dreams, and dream shoes, do come true. Laughing, she added, “should I get another pair of shoes to celebrate?” Cinderella would agree.
