This year COVID-19 hit us hard – from jobs to school being moved online, we all had to stay indoors. So obviously we all had to stay comfy since we were all staying at home and mainly wearing items like matching sets, leggings and sweatpants. Let’s be honest, we weren’t really worried about style, we just wanted to be comfortable while we were home. But now that the weather is getting chilly, we need to create cute and comfy outfits that are also suitable for this chilly weather. I have three ways to style leggings so you can be comfy, stylish and warm this season.

Look 1

The first outfit is a little on the casual side but it’s still cute for both school and day to day activities. I wore high waisted leggings, a cropped tee, a denim jacket and my Dr. Martens. Even though the shirt is cropped, you still have the denim jacket for when you feel chilly. For a warmer look, you can swap the tee for a normal sized one and complete it with a beanie. Overall the outfit is casual chic and put together.

Look 2

The second outfit gives me strolling through Paris vibes and gives you the opportunity to look chic at home. I styled black leggings with a white turtleneck sweater, a brown cardigan, and my knee high boots. It’s perfect for this weather because it’s comfy, cozy, and stylish. If a cardigan is not your style, you can switch with a coat or blazer to make it more professional. This outfit is my favorite because it’s really cute and can be both casual and dressy.

Look 3

The final outfit has been trending lately. If you have TikTok, then you have definitely seen it. It’s been worn by both Gen Z and Millennials, and both generations rock this outfit effortlessly. For this look I wore black leggings, a collared shirt, a sweatshirt, and Air Force 1s. This outfit is preppy, but also casual. It’s that outfit you wear when you want to have a lazy day, but look cute at the same time. The Air Forces keep the outfit casual, but if you’d like you can switch them with boots.
